PERSONAL CARE

A personal care aide is someone who works to help another person complete their daily activities. Personal care aides assist in the bathing and self-care tasks a patient may have difficulty with.

RESPITE

Respite care is a form of short-term substitute care that provides temporary relief for caregivers. Respite helps unpaid caregivers find more balance in their lives and can be especially useful in the event of an emergency, such as if the caregiver falls ill and cannot perform their duties.

COMPANION

Companion care is to be with the member so they are not alone and have someone be aware of their actions to avoid any sort of accident or mishap that may occur.

HOMEMAKER

These include acts such as assistance with preparing and serving meals, light housekeeping, picking up groceries and medications for patients, etc.
